Wearing: Nyata

Wow! How great are you guys… on Monday I shared a pretty personal post about my health story and my recent diagnosis with MS. Your response was pretty amazing, it’s not easy to put yourself out there like that but having it welcomed with open arms really did make it that much easier. In case you missed it you can read it here.

I am really loving this blogging caper so far, everyone is so supportive and encouraging. All your comments, likes and messages don’t go unnoticed, I really do appreciate it!

Now, onto something a little shinier, literally shiner, it involves sequins…

Enter Nyata.

I first discovered Nyata about a year ago. My first purchase was a little black dress (Its on sale too guys!!) which I have worn to death, summer, winter, you name it, this dress is the business.

Over the year I have racked up quite a nice little collection of Nyata, each item making me fall harder than the last.

One of the many things I love about Nyata is that the sizes range from 8-30, it’s a one stop shop so woman of all shapes and sizes can look and feel amazing. Oh and you can ditch the numbers sizing chart too, Nyata goes by names instead, no more being dictated by a number on a tag, instead you are gorgeous, beautiful or amazing, just to name a few.

The other reason I love it so is because when you buy from Nyata you are buying from a small business, each fashion forward piece is lovingly designed in Australia and manufactured in Indonesia.

My latest Nyata love is from the timeless collection, the stunning Shifty Thing dress.

I’ve been a raving fan of the shift style dress for a while, it skims and hugs in all the right places and makes me feel uber confident for pretty much any occasion.

I’ve worn this dress for both casual and dressy occasions and it works equally well for both. From a casual BBQ (who says you can’t wear sequins during the day?) to drinks with the girls, this dress is strut city.

Here I have just added some Frankie4 ‘Belinda’ wedges, simple bangles and a bold red lip. Size wise I’ve gone up to a Jaw dropper as I like a more relaxed fit in a shift, the size down would have fit but been a bit more body hugging.

Don’t even get me started on the gold sequin detailing, it makes me smile whenever I pull it out, hence why I’m pulling my best ‘look away from the camera model pose’

I’m well aware that I’m no model…. by any means, still I think we can all agree that any day now Miranda Kerr will surely be calling me for the tips and tricks of the trade. I will happily take one for the team and teach her all I know, I’m just a giver like that.

I do have to apologise though, the photos are not the best quality but I think you get the idea. I’m using my old faithful iPhone 4, I know, I know, I’m upgrading very soon!

Speaking of swoon worthy, Nyata have also just released a swimwear range, oh my! On the list it goes!

Does anyone else have an actual ‘to buy’ list? I keep it on my phone and add to it pretty much every time I check instagram… don’t leave me hanging here, I know I’m not the only one…

You can check out the latest from Nyata here and stay tuned as the new summer range is being released any day now!

What about you, do you rock a sequin during the day?
